Stepping into Wayak Hotel was like finding a hidden gem in the heart of Managua, Nicaragua. From the warm welcome by Chino, the attentive airport shuttle driver, to the helpful staff including Manuel, Jonathan, and the lovely receptionists Francella. The traditional dishes at Restaurant METATE were a delightful introduction to Nicaraguan cuisine, while the modern rooms with their private balconies provided a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the nearby Galerias Shopping Centre.The free shuttle service made it easy to venture out to the shores of Lake Managua or the natural wonders of Masaya Volcano National Park. The outdoor pool and garden offered tranquil spaces to unwind, while the complimentary toiletries and hairdryer in the bathrooms added a touch of luxury to the stay. The only downside was the firm mattress in the spacious rooms, but the welcoming atmosphere and excellent service more than made up for it. Wayak Hotel truly exceeded expectations, and I look forward to returning for another authentic Nicaraguan experience. Happy travels!
